Microsoft says that the blue screen of death will be removed soon. This does not mean that your PC will not crash, OUCH!
BSOD is being replaced by a black screen of death for real. Did he not announce a similar similar in 2021? Yes, yes they did. But now it seems that they are killing it, finally, it is dying. Maybe Crowdastrik was the last nail in BSOD News Coffin? Farewell, I will let it rest now.
Jokes on one side, you might be thinking, why replace which is about 40 years? Apparently the old BSOD design was not very informative, well you do not need to be a talented to find out. When Windows 11 24H2 was released, it came with improvement to crash the dump collection during BSOD, not about two seconds. Microsoft says that the new black screen has a simplified user interface with shorted experience. The color of the background is black instead of blue, it will not have a drowning face or QR code. Has anyone ever scanned it during an accident? Well, perhaps this is why it was removed.

Microsoft states that the new UI improves readability and Windows 11 aligns with design principles, focusing only on technical information on the screen. As you can see from the screenshot, the new black screen of the death will display a message that says, “Your device has gone into a problem and needs to be resumed.” But even more importantly, the stop code under the screen displays, and tells you what failed.
Microsoft says that the new black screen for unexpected restarts would have started this summer later for Windows 11 version 24h2. Redmund company is also bringing Quick Machine Recovery (QMR). If you miss it, QMR is automatically designed to fix the PC that does not boot.
QMR will be available with new BSOD reforms, and supports all Windows 11 24H2 devices. It is capable by default on Windows 11 Home, but Windows 11 Pro users can enable it if they want. Microsoft Windows is making some major changes in security, taking antivirus programs away from kernel-level access.
