Microsoft says Windows 11 is 2.3x faster than Windows 10 | Free Download

Microsoft has published an article claiming that Windows 11 is better and faster than Windows 11 Windows 10. It claims that the new OS 2.3x is fast, is it?

Windows reaches the end of support in October 10, and Microsoft has already tried to scare people by warning that the inappropriate PC will no longer get security updates, it has also advised people to trade their old computers and buy a new. All this is marketing, and so it is claimed that Windows 11 is twice the Windows 10.

The company has published an article which has been captioned “Windows 11 PC Display claims“, Who explains how the tests were conducted. Microsoft says that the test included playing a local video on various laptops. You can undergo all the details of the page above, or read the lesson in the screenshot below.

Windows 11 PC Performance Description

The page also lists a table with information about all computers and their processors. Allow me to divide the table into 2, I will tell you why just a little bit. Take a look at the screenshot, what do they tell you?

Windows 10 pc benchmark

These tests were not conducted on a single PC, several models were used for benchmarks. While this is good, do you notice something strange in the table?

Windows 11 PC Benchmark

Microsoft did not test Windows 10 on Machines, Windows 11, or vice versa. An appropriate way to benchmark the system will have to install Windows 10 on the computer, inspect the results, then upgrade them to Windows 11 and re -test them. It does not seem that what has happened here, is it? Hey, if you are not upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, why will your users be?

Another issue with this test is that all these Windows 10 computers have a CPU that is at least 5 years or more, most of them are from 2017-19. In fact, i5-6200u is from 2015. Microsoft accepts it in documentation. Yes, they actually used a 10 -year -old chip in a modern benchmark.

Can you guess how old the CPU is on all these Windows 11 PCs? They all have been since 2022 or later, its only exception is the i7–1065G7 which was released in 2019. It is also the only CPU that was also tested on Windows 10. Note how the CPU frequencies of Windows 11 machines have been left negligent?

I am not saying that the old CPUs are bad, but Microsoft claims wild. No, Windows 11 2.3x is not sharp, the computer was sharp in the benchmark because they have new hardware that are more powerful. I have said many times, never rely on benchmarks, it is absolutely meaningless than the use of real life.

There are many factors that need to be taken into account, take the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H for example battery capacity, cash, etc., it is manufactured on the 7Nm process, while the Intel Core i5-1135G7 was based on the 10NM process. This makes a big difference in power efficiency, and performance. This will explain the results in the other table, which highlights the video playback battery life tests.

You see, these benchmarks are not for power-users, they are just numbers to confuse the average user. There are innocent people who will be foolish with this marketing, and in fact believe that their PC will be very fast with Windows 11. Some people can go and buy a new PC because they think Windows 10 2.3x is slow.

What about AMD PC, why is there no one involved in the test? Why this claim on Intel PC alone? I am an Intel user, and I think it is an immoral way to market Windows 11, not falling for these tricks.
