Many Windows users sign in using Microsoft account. Here is how it went down according to the user. The user needed to move photos and work with “multiple old drives” and the plan they came with later to park files on the cloud storage service of ONEDRIVE, Microsoft, before being moved to a new hard drive.
Microsoft suspended the customer’s account before the final part of the migration. This meant that the user could no longer reach the files, as their access was blocked due to the locked account. The user did not mention whether photos and work files were still accessible on the old drive.
Eighteen appeals, all automated, lead anywhere. The account remained closed and 30 years of user history with it. It seems as if files are no longer accessible on the old drive.
