To make Microsoft Search more accessible, Windows 11 is re -designing the Settings app. Why can there be a good thing here.
Currently, there are two different pages where you can manage how the search works in Windows 11. The first allows you to customize the search permissions including safe search, cloud material search, search history.
Another page, called search window, is used to configure how the search for files works, folders have to be extended out of the search, and even there are options to control power settings for sequencing. The thing is, while both pages fall under privacy and security category, it is misleading.
When you type the search and click on all the results the show, it is what you get. He is dirty. Not everyone can know that there are many pages for the search settings, which in turn it may mean that they are unaware of many options that would like to have them to be ticking. The replacement of the control room should be improved by this, right?

Microsoft is currently testing the new search settings page in the Windows Insider program, it is available in Windows 11 Build 26200.5622 and produces 26120.4230. It is not clear when these changes will be added to the stable channel.
