Surprise Drop via EA Play
Microsoft silently added the sims And the Sims 2 For Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. adds up electronic art‘EA Play subscription, which is included with Game Pass Ultimate.
Unlike most Game Pass updates, these titles were not mentioned in Microsoft’s recent lineup announcements, making the release a real surprise for subscribers.
Full game including expansions
Both games are available in their full versions including all major expansion packs. EA re-released The Sims and The Sims 2 on modern PCs in 2025 after they were difficult to run on new hardware for several years. While the original Sims had some early technical problems, those problems have largely been resolved.
Subscribers can now play both Classics without additional purchases, provided they have access to EA Play through their Game Pass tier.
