Two new Windows applications leaked last year, people and file search. Earlier this year, Microsoft officially announced apps in a post Technical community Unveiled the website and some technical details.
The main objective of “Saathi Apps” is to focus on completing the tasks quickly and effectively for users. For example, the Peepal app sits on the taskbar of the operating system. This only allows you to use profile cards and organizational charts with a few clicks, sending messages or finding people.
File search, as the name suggests, helps users to find and share files fasterIt supports finding files without specifying the file name and preview files before sharing.
Recently, Microsoft revealed that the calendar is another fellow app for Microsoft 365 which is planned to be launched.

- Microsoft 365 joined the Insider program for business.
- Microsoft 365 desktop apps have been installed.
- Run Windows 11.
It seems that Microsoft will only launch the fellow app for Microsoft 365 business or enterpriseWhile home users will benefit from some apps, file search comes to mind, they may have less use for people or calendar apps. Microsoft is yet to reveal additional fellow apps that were indicated on it.
According to a new entry on the Microsoft 365 roadmap, the application is automatically rolled on systems that meet the requirements. There, Microsoft writes: “Microsoft 365 is a suit of apps, including people, file search, and calendars, designed to increase productivity to reach out to major equipment directly from Windows 11 taskbar.
Microsoft first confirmed that the fellow would automatically install the application supported system. Administrators can opt-out to prevent installation. This is done through the Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center. There, administrators need to uncheck the Microsoft 365 fellow apps (preview) after selecting Microsoft 365 fellow apps> Device Configuration> Modern App Settings and Unchecked “Automatic Establishment of Microsoft 365 fellow apps”.
This prevents installation on devices, but will not remove the already installed fellow apps. Users can be fit as well as disable automatic start-ups of applications or PIN/Anapin apps.
