I bought the 1” and 1-½ “ brushes. I like the 1” much better. Often I like the “house paint “ style brushes for large washes but this one (1-½”) doesn’t seem to work so good. It had a lot of sizing in the bristles to keep the shape (seemingly more than the 1”) and maybe I didn’t get it all out. The 1” flat brush behaves quite well for the money

This brush is ok. The bristles were still a bit stuck together when I received the brush but a quick wash and gentle rubbing got rid of that. The brush holds a good amount of water and paints pretty well so far. I’m using it for watercolor and haven’t had any issues with it yet.
