Windows 11 is getting a feature that users have long requested. You will soon be able to use your information in many monitors.
Microsoft added support to display taskbar on all monitor about 4 years ago for the first time. It then provided clock and date on all screen. However, the system tray remains exclusive to primary performance. Some third-party equipment has allowed the use of system trays on all monitor.
It is strange that such an original feature is not available for so long, I mean one of the major areas where you interact with the operating system, that is, tray apps, notifications, networks/Bluetooth etc.
In addition, Microsoft is also testing an option to show a large watch in the calendar panel that appears when you click on the date/time in the system tray. The new design will display a big watch with seconds. This is not a new feature, it is available at Windows 10, but was removed from Windows 11. The notification panel will be displayed when you click on date/time.
On a side note, Microsoft is now rolling its AI agent in Settings for AMD and Intel-Intelled Copilot+ PCS. This feature was earlier available only on Snapdragon-Integrated Copilot+ PC. The Windows Search will showcase a new grid view of images that belonged to your query.
The task manager is getting a new optional column in the details tab, it is called CPU utility, and is not capable by default. This is because Windows changed how the task manager calculates the processes, performance and CPU use for the pages of users. It uses standard matrix to display CPU workloads in all pages continuously. A new option is being added for backward compatibility. The feature was originally declared in February, but later disabled due to the bug. Microsoft says that it is rolling the CPU utility column again, as the insect is patched.
Microsoft is currently Testing of changes Create 26200.5722 in Windows 11 Insider preview which is available to Dev channel users. It may take some time before bringing these features to a stable channel.
